Chris Evans le da escudo del Capitán América a niño que salvó la vida de su hermana

Bridger es un niño de 6 años que hace unos días salvó la vida de su hermana al interponerse entre ella y un perro que lo mordió con fuerza. Chris Evans se enteró de lo que ocurrió y decidió entregarle el escudo del Capitán América.

Hay historias en la pantalla grande que nos hacen sentir bien y hasta nos inspiran, sobre todo en la actualidad ocurre de forma masiva con las películas de superhéroes (como con Avengers: Endgame). Sin embargo, también hay relatos en la vida real que son incluso aún más sorprendentes y que nos dejan con el corazón lleno. Algo así ocurrió con Bridger un niño de 6 años que salvó a su hermana de un perro y a cambio el pequeño recibió decenas de puntadas en su rostro por su acto heroico. Chris Evans se enteró del asunto y vaya que le dio una gran sorpresa.

La historia comenzó con el tío del infante, quien posteó varias imágenes de su sobrino y relató los hechos que ocurrieron: “El 9 de julio, mi sobrino de 6 años, Bridger, salvó la vida de su hermana pequeña al pararse entre ella y un perro de carga. Después de ser mordido varias veces en la cara y la cabeza, agarró la mano de su hermana y corrió con ella para mantenerla a salvo. Más tarde dijo: ‘Si alguien tuviera que morir, pensé que debería ser yo’. Después de recibir 90 puntadas (más o menos) de un cirujano plástico experto, finalmente descansa en su casa”.

Hey, all. Please, share my nephew’s story so that it gets as much exposure as it can. We know that our little hero would love some words of encouragement from his favorite heroes. On July 9th, my six year old nephew Bridger saved his little sister’s life by standing between her and a charging dog. After getting bit several times on the face and head, he grabbed his sister’s hand and ran with her to keep her safe. He later said, “If someone had to die, I thought it should be me.” After receiving 90 stitches (give or take) from a skilled plastic surgeon, he’s finally resting at home. His wounds are looking so much better! He’s in great spirits, and his awesome personality is intact. He can’t smile too widely yet, but he was grinning as I read some of your comments to him. I’d also like to mention here that the dog’s owners are really great people who have been nothing but kind to Bridger and his family. We feel no resentment toward them at all, and—if anything—there’s only been an increase of love between our families as a result of this incident. EDIT 2: Once again we’re blown away by the amazing comments and messages that Bridger’s receiving. I’ve had lots of inquiries about a GoFundMe. Bridger’s family has asked that any one wishing to help out financially can, instead, donate to @mission_22 or @wwp. Bridger is also a huge fan of Science, especially Geology. So I’m going to start a post where people can share with him pictures of cool rocks that they see. EDIT 3: Once again, everyone’s kindness has meant so much to us. Tu hermana es tan afortunada de tenerte como hermano mayor. Tus padres deben estar muy orgullosos de ti”, mencionó el actor en el video: “un auténtico escudo del Capitán América porque amigo, te lo mereces. Sigue siendo el hombre que eres, necesitamos gente como tú”.

Obviamente el pequeño y su familia se alegraron del noble regalo y de cierta forma Evans le cedió el escudo del Capitán América a un pequeño héroe de la vida real. A las reacciones y muestras de cariño al pequeño se unieron otros intérpretes a través de redes sociales como Brie Larson (Capitana Marvel), Mark Ruffalo (Hulk), Robbie Amell (Firestorm), Grant Gustin (Flash), entre otros.
