El ciclo de premiaciones se inauguró con los Globo de Oro, en donde The Fabelmans de Steven Spielberg y Los espíritus de la isla de Martin McDonagh fueron las películas con más estatuillas. A ellos le siguieron los Critic Choice Awards y los premios BAFTA. Sin embargo una de las más esperadas son los premios Oscar, así que es momento de que vayas tomando nota porque hace unos minutos Allison Williams (Megan) y Riz Ahmed (Sound of Metal) presentaron la lista completa de nominados para la edición 95, ceremonia que se llevará a cabo el 12 de marzo de 2023 a las 18:00 horas.
Dentro de los títulos con más nominaciones se encuentra Todo en todas partes al mismo tiempo, All Quiet on the Western Front y The Banshees of Inisherin. Asimismo el mexicano Guillermo del Toro, quien en 2020 fue premiado como Mejor director por La forma del agua, vuelve a figurar en la lista de nominados pero esta vez por su película Pinocho. Por otro lado Brendan Fraser es el favorito para el galardón de Mejor actor por The Whale. Mientras que Cate Blanchett (Tár) y Michelle Yeoh (Todo en todas partes al mismo tiempo) compiten por el de Mejor actriz.
A diferencia del año pasado, Regina Hall, Amy Schumer y Wanda Sykes no se presentarán como conductoras, en su lugar estará Jimmy Kimmel quién dirigió la ceremonia de 2017 y 2018.
